  • 362 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2017, compared with 478 during 2016.


  • 38 people have been seriously injured in AUGUST 2017.


  • 26 serious injuries were males and 12 were females.


  • 25 were vehicle occupants, 9 were motorcycle riders and 4 were pedestrians.


  • In AUGUST 2017, there were 12 serious injuries in the country and 26 in Adelaide.


  • Of the 31 serious injury crashes in AUGUST 2017, 15 involved a single vehicle and 16 involved more than one vehicle.

  • 29 crashes involved a single serious injury and 2 involved multiple serious injuries.
