KEY FACTS:
  • 286 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2018, compared with 339 during 2017.


  • 47 people have been seriously injured in JUNE 2018.


  • 31 serious injuries were males and 16 were females.


  • 34 were vehicle occupants, 5 were cyclists, 4 were motorcycle riders and 4 were pedestrians.


  • In JUNE 2018, there were 14 serious injuries in the country and 33 in Adelaide.


  • Of the 39 serious injury crashes in JUNE 2018, 19 involved a single vehicle and 20 involved more than one vehicle.

  • 34 crashes involved a single serious injury and 5 involved multiple serious injuries.
