KEY FACTS:
  • 414 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2016, compared with 433 during 2015.

  • 37 people have been seriously injured in JULY 2016.

  • 27 serious injuries were males and 10 were females.

  • 21 were vehicle occupants, 9 were motorcycle riders, 5 were pedestrians and 2 were cyclists.

  • In JULY 2016, there were 11 serious injuries in the country and 26 in Adelaide.

  • Of the 33 serious injury crashes in JULY 2016, 20 involved a single vehicle and 13 involved more than one vehicle.

  • 31 crashes involved a single serious injury and 2 involved multiple serious injuries.
