KEY FACTS:
  • 237 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2019, compared with 198 during 2018.


  • 52 people have been seriously injured in APRIL 2019.


  • 35 serious injuries were males and 17 were females.


  • 22 were vehicle occupants, 14 were motorcycle riders, 9 were cyclists and 7 were pedestrians.


  • In APRIL 2019, there were 7 serious injuries in the country and 45 in Adelaide.


  • Of the 50 serious injury crashes in APRIL 2019, 20 involved a single vehicle and 30 involved more than one vehicle.

  • 48 crashes involved a single serious injury and 2 involved multiple serious injuries.
