  • 45 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2017, compared with 56 during 2016.


  • 45 people have been seriously injured in JANUARY 2017.


  • 28 serious injuries were males and 17 were females.


  • 27 were vehicle occupants, 9 were motorcycle riders, 8 were cyclists and 1 was a pedestrian.


  • In JANUARY 2017, there were 20 serious injuries in the country and 25 in Adelaide.


  • Of the 38 serious injury crashes in JANUARY 2017, 13 involved a single vehicle and 25 involved more than one vehicle.

  • 32 crashes involved a single serious injury and 6 involved multiple serious injuries.
