KEY FACTS:
  • 138 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2018, compared with 170 during 2017.


  • 59 people have been seriously injured in MARCH 2018.


  • 44 serious injuries were males and 15 were females.


  • 40 were vehicle occupants, 9 were cyclists, 7 were motorcycle riders and 3 were pedestrians.


  • In MARCH 2018, there were 30 serious injuries in the country and 29 in Adelaide.


  • Of the 44 serious injury crashes in MARCH 2018, 18 involved a single vehicle and 26 involved more than one vehicle.

  • 37 crashes involved a single serious injury and 7 involved multiple serious injuries.
