KEY FACTS:
  • 80 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2017, compared with 106 during 2016.


  • 35 people have been seriously injured in FEBRUARY 2017.


  • 25 serious injuries were males and 10 were females.


  • 22 were vehicle occupants, 5 were cyclists, 5 were motorcycle riders and 3 were pedestrians.


  • In FEBRUARY 2017, there were 16 serious injuries in the country and 19 in Adelaide.


  • Of the 34 serious injury crashes in FEBRUARY 2017, 17 involved a single vehicle and 17 involved more than one vehicle.

  • All 34 crashes involved a single serious injury.
