KEY FACTS:
  • 269 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2017, compared with 374 during 2016.


  • 42 people have been seriously injured in JUNE 2017.


  • 27 serious injuries were males and 15 were females.


  • 32 were vehicle occupants, 5 were motorcycle riders, 3 were cyclists and 2 were pedestrians.


  • In JUNE 2017, there were 18 serious injuries in the country and 24 in Adelaide.


  • Of the 34 serious injury crashes in JUNE 2017, 19 involved a single vehicle and 15 involved more than one vehicle.

  • 30 crashes involved a single serious injury and 4 involved multiple serious injuries.
