KEY FACTS:
  • 239 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2018, compared with 285 during 2017.


  • 42 people have been seriously injured in MAY 2018.


  • 25 serious injuries were males and 17 were females.


  • 28 were vehicle occupants, 7 were motorcycle riders, 5 were pedestrians and 2 were cyclists.


  • In MAY 2018, there were 24 serious injuries in the country and 18 in Adelaide.


  • Of the 36 serious injury crashes in MAY 2018, 22 involved a single vehicle and 14 involved more than one vehicle.

  • 31 crashes involved a single serious injury and 5 involved multiple serious injuries.
