Hancock Road and Milne Road Roundabout Pedestrian Access Upgrade

The Department for Infrastructure and Transport has undertaken works to upgrade the existing pedestrian walkthroughs at the Hancock Road and Milne Road roundabout at Ridgehaven. Works included upgrades to existing pedestrian ramps and cut outs, updated line marking and the installation of upgraded lighting.

These works are part of a broader strategy to improve road safety for all pedestrians, particularly children walking and cycling to school, and forms part of a $6 million investment by the South Australian Government to improve road safety around schools.

Works commenced on Wednesday, 19 April 2023 and were completed in June 2023.
