International Women's Day 2019

Last week the Northern Connector Project team celebrated International Women’s Day with a morning tea, marking the day’s theme of #BalanceforBetter.

The project is certainly helping to put the theme into practice, with about 30% of all positions filled by women, which is more than twice the national average of 14%.  This includes roles across all areas, including civil and environmental engineering, operation of heavy machinery, safety,
financial and contractual administration.

Well done to the team on its success in striving to build a gender-balanced workplace.
