LeFevre Peninsula
The LeFevre Peninsula Transport Corridor is an existing seven kilometre freight route on the LeFevre Peninsula which links South Australia's major port and rail terminals at Outer Harbor directly with the interstate mainline rail network to Perth, Sydney and Melbourne. The project involves the upgrade of this rail line to ensure safe and efficient transport links from the Port River Expressway project to Outer Harbor.
This investment complements significant government and private development currently being undertaken on the LeFevre Peninsula and the surrounding area, continuing to contribute to the state's economic growth by providing a reliable and efficient transport link to facilities supporting future growth in exports.
