Nurlutta Railway Station
Pedestrian Crossing Upgrade
The State Government has committed to improving passenger safety and accessibility by upgrading the southern pedestrian crossing at Nurlutta Railway Station.
What’s happening:
The works will include:
- establishment of site compound;
- service relocation works;
- rail track works;
- demolition of the existing pedestrian mazeway; and
- construction of a new pedestrian mazeway.
When:
From Thursday 11 July 2024 until late July 2024
To allow these works to be safely undertaken, the pedestrian crossing on the southern side of Commercial Road will be temporarily closed from Sunday 14 July until late July 2024.
Hours of operation:
Day Works: 7am - 7pm
Night Works: 7pm - 7am
How this affects you:
During the works, there will be some light spill and noise disruptions from time to time, but we'll do our best to keep the noise to a minimum.
A site compound will be established on the southern side of Commercial Road near the pedestrian crossing.
There will be changes to traffic and pedestrian conditions to keep everyone safe while works are underway. Please follow traffic management directions while works are in progress.
