About the Project

The State Government committed $43.5 million to deliver additional parking at the Tea Tree Plaza Park ’n’ Ride.

This new Park ‘n’ Ride at Tea Tree Plaza has been built near the existing 700-park facility and will increase the number of Park ‘n’ Ride spaces available to approximately 1,200.

The construction of the Park ‘n’ Ride facility commenced in late November 2022, and was opened to the public on Friday 16 February 2024.

Community engagement has formed an important component across the life of the project.
