Porter Street, Liverpool Street and Railway Place Intersection Upgrade
About the project
We are upgrading the Porter Street, Liverpool Street (Lincoln Highway) and Railway Place intersection in Port Lincoln to improve freight efficiency enhance safety, and provide better access for pedestrians.
This intersection is used by approximately 10,300 vehicles each day, including more than 1400 heavy vehicles, and forms part of a vital freight and grain transport corridor on the Eyre Peninsula.
The project will include the installation of traffic signals at the intersection, creating a pedestrian crossing on all four approaches, and new line marking, street lighting, kerbs, gutters and landscaping.
