Latest News

Early works including service relocation and earth works are underway with completion expected by late April 2022, weather permitting. The majority of works will be undertaken each day, Monday to Friday, between 7am and 5pm. Some night works may be required.

What to expect

To safely undertake these works, speed and lane restrictions will be in place. Road users are asked to please plan ahead, allow extra travel time and take extra care when workers are on site. Observe speed limits, lane restrictions and traffic controllers when travelling through the area.

Whilst there will be some temporary impacts at various locations for pedestrians and cyclists, access will be maintained at all times, with traffic controllers onsite to assist.

Some noise disturbance can be expected at times while these works are completed, however the work will be managed to minimise disturbance to nearby residents and businesses as much as practically possible.

Individual service providers including SA Power Networks, NBN and Telecommunication providers will advise separately of any potential interruptions to services during these works.

The Department appreciates your cooperation and patience while these important works are carried out.

Project timing

Major construction is expected to commence in May 2022, with completion expected in late 2022, weather permitting.
