SOUTH AUSTRALIA – GULF ST VINCENT – PORT VINCENT – MIDDLE SPIT BEACON MISSING

Former Notice to Mariners No. 42 of 2025 (Temporary)

Mariners are advised that the navigation beacon (Fl W 2s, range 5 nautical miles) marking the northern end of Middle Spit near Port Vincent in position 34° 45’ 20.49”S, 137° 54’ 10.05”E is missing.

A temporary lit yellow buoy (Fl Y 2s, range 2 nautical miles) has been installed at this location.

The beacon will be replaced by November 2025.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the area.
