About the project

The Department for Infrastructure and Transport is upgrading the intersection of Grange Road, Holbrooks Road and East Avenue to relieve congestion and improve safety and connectivity for all road users at this location.

The $90 million project is part of the $850 million package of broader network upgrades, funded by the Australian and South Australian governments as part of the T2D Project.

Concept design

The concept design has been updated following community feedback in late 2023.

Major construction is  now commencing, with the intersection expected to open to traffic in late 2025.

Latest News

McLean Street temporary closure

To keep everyone safe, we need to temporarily close a portion of McLean Street (off East Avenue) between Myer Court and East Avenue, from Monday 17 March 2025 to traffic until the end of the project, expected in late 2025.

Access to businesses on Myer Court will be maintained at all times via Main Street.

Community engagement
