Mannum Road Safety Upgrades

Works on Mannum Road between Mannum and Murray Bridge are now complete.

This project formed part of the $168 million National Road Safety Program, jointly funded by the Australian (50%) and South Australian (50%) governments.

Completed works on Mannum Road between Mannum and Murray Bridge included:

  • Safety barrier installation
  • Shoulder sealing
  • Storm water upgrades
  • Audio Tactile Line Marking (ATLM). ATLM is used to reduce “run-off-road’ or cross carriageway crashes by creating a noise (audio) and vibratory (tactile) warning to road users who have strayed from the road lane.
