South Eastern Freeway Interchanges
The Australian and South Australian governments have committed $150 million (80:20) to upgrade the Mount Barker and Verdun interchanges.
Upgrading these interchanges will improve safety and traffic flow for the thousands of motorists who travel every day between the city and Hills communities, including Mount Barker.
These projects are expected to support approximately 260 full-time equivalent jobs per annum over the construction period.
Major construction is planned to start in 2025.
