Certificate of Occupancy information session for the building and construction industry

Learn more about the Certificate of Occupancy requirements for homes that will commence in South Australia from 1 October 2024. This session is for the development industry (builders and construction industry) who may be responsible for applying for Certificate of Occupancies, completing Statement of Compliances and liaising with homeowners on these new requirements.

GARP Discussion Paper – youth forum

Right now, the Greater Adelaide Regional Plan Discussion Paper is open for consultation. It is planning HOW and WHERE the city of Adelaide and surrounds will grow, live, play and work over the next 30 years!

Young people will inherit this region, so it is important that their perspectives are included in this plan.

This forum is set to be an enriching night of interactive workshop activities designed to capture your visions for the future of Greater Adelaide. This is your chance to make your voice heard!

This event is an epic collaboration between the communities at South Australian Grassroots Ecosystem (SAGE), World Economic Forum Global Shapers Adelaide Hub, Youth Affairs Council of South Australia, the Commissioner for Children and Young People and the Department for Trade and Investment, Planning and Land Use Services and the State Planning Commission.

Changes to Crown and essential infrastructure development applications - information session

The ability to submit Crown and essential infrastructure development applications through the PlanSA Development Application Processing (DAP) system will soon be made available for government agencies and prescribed bodies. State agencies or applicants lodging on behalf of or sponsored by a Crown agency will be able to register for an online account and lodge new development applications and land division proposals directly into the PlanSA system.

PlanSA is holding an online information session to inform state agencies, applicants, and referral bodies on how Crown and essential infrastructure applications can be lodged and responded to within the DAP system.
