EFPA information sessions commence

This week DPTI staff partnered with representatives from both Murray Bridge and Alexandrina Councils to host a drop-in session in Mount Barker for landowners on Rural Living properties within the new Environment and Food Production Areas. Following on from letters sent to all landowners within these areas, the session was designed to provide residents with more information on how the newly implemented EFPAs may change their ability to sub-divide their land for residential purposes. Feedback from landowners at this session was very supportive of the overall intent of the EFPAs in protecting productive farmland on our city fringe.
