How to complete Form TA001
- Provide contact details for those submitting the request (Project Manager, Transport Planner, Project Sponsor).
- Fill out the study/project description section with as much detail about the study/project and location as possible.
- Attach/upload documentation to identify specific location and size of any proposed development.
- Specify the years for which forecast data is requested, i.e. 2021, 2026, 2031, and/or 2036.
- Identify if you need forecasts for isolated intersection(s). If you need turning movement forecasts for specific times (am, pm, etc.), indicate accordingly in the additional information section of this form (Question 11).
- Make sure you upload these documents:
- Map identifying project boundaries and specific intersections to be forecast (required)
- Project Brief or Project Definition Report (required)
- Proposed plans/drawings of intersections for future options (if applicable)
- Recent traffic count surveys (in the past two years)
- Explain any other specific details that would help us with completing the forecast.
Note
- Providing forecast tuning movements is subject to receiving a completed Form TA001.
- Forecast turning movements are prepared based on our strategic transport models. These are based on a range of assumptions in line with the state’s strategic policies and plans.
- Forecasts may need to be revised if key assumptions change.
- Forecast turning movements represent the average weekday.
- These forecasts cannot be used for any purpose other than what is specified on the Form TA001.
Turnaround time
Please allow at least 2 weeks to complete turning movement forecasts.
Turnaround time for complex projects can be substantially longer. We will contact you with an estimated turnaround time within a few days of receiving the completed form.
