A successful partnership between Mannum Community College, Mid Murray Council and the State Government’s Way2Go program is encouraging physical activity daily with a safer walk to and from school for Mannum Community College students. New safety improvements include kerb and footpath improvements, signage and pedestrian barriers around entry points to the college on Walker Avenue and Adelaide Road. The aim is to create safer, people friendly streets near schools to promote more students walking, cycling or riding a scooter to school daily.
