Mannum Waters residential marina
Published Thursday, 25 February 2021
Consultation has commenced on the proposal by Tallwood Pty Ltd to add a holiday village and adventure water park to the ‘Mannum Waters’ residential marina site.
The company has lodged an Amendment to the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) with the Planning and Land Use Services division of the Attorney-General’s Department, in response to revised guidelines previously issued by the State Planning Commission.
The Amendment to the EIS describes the proposed changes to the approved development and the potential environmental, social and economic impacts of the two new components.
Given the proposed amendment will significantly affect the substance of the original EIS, interested members of the community are invited to make written submissions on the amendments.
The consultation process commences on 25 February 2021 and closes on 26 March 2021. Details on how to lodge a submission are available on the PlanSA portal and will also be published in the Advertiser and Murray Valley Standard newspapers.
A public information session will be held on 10 March 2021 between 11.00 am to 4.00 pm at the Mannum Motel, 76 Cliff Street, Mannum. Representatives from Tallwood will be available to provide further details and answer questions about the development.
Attendees are encouraged to register to attend this session - email PlanSA@sa.gov.au or call the PlanSA Service Desk on 1800 752 664.
