A certificate is not required for a Class 10 building under the Building Code.
An application must be accompanied by a written statement from the builder responsible for the work. It must say that work has been carried out in line with the relevant approval and where applicable, includes a Certificate of Compliance with Essential Safety Provisions (Form 2s).
A Certificate of Occupancy is an approved form for the purposes of issuing a Certificate of Occupancy under regulation 103(8) of the Planning, Development and Infrastructure (General) Regulations 2017.
