Mobile Phone Detection Cameras
South Australia’s first mobile phone detection cameras are operating on key metropolitan road corridors in fixed locations. This is part of a $15.9 million initiative as the State Government pushes to reduce road trauma caused by driver distraction.
Using a mobile phone device while driving is dangerous. The cameras detect drivers who use their mobile phones illegally. A fine and demerit points will be issued for breaching the road rules.
