Participants of the AGFMA

The Across Government Facilities Management Arrangements (AGFMA), are an integral part of the South Australian Government’s commitment to the maintenance, management and improvement of government building assets that underpin essential community services.

On 5 July 2021 Cabinet approved the Minister for Infrastructure and Transport to execute a Contract with Ventia Australia Pty Ltd (Ventia) to be the single Facilities Management Service Provider (FMSP) for the AGFMA, which was executed on 6 July 2021.

The newly appointed Ventia have been contracted to coordinate the delivery of facilities management works under the AGFMA.

DIT, Ventia, Contractors and Participating Agency Representatives play integral roles in ensuring that the arrangement is effective.

Both the AGFMA team and Ventia are looking for opportunities to optimise the approach so that the full benefits of the transition can be realised.

Who are the Key Participants of the AGFMA?

The Participating Agencies and their representatives, who play a role in administering the arrangements and request and approve work.

The AGFMA Directorate (AGFMA), who administers the arrangements in accordance with the agreed Services Contract on behalf of the SA Government.

The Contractors engaged by Ventia to provision the fulfilment of maintenance work orders under the AGFMA

Ventia FMSP who coordinates completion of facilities management works by assigning appropriately skilled and qualified Contractors and in accordance with the agreed Services Contract.
