Notice to Mariners No. 72 of 2024 (Temporary)
SOUTH AUSTRALIA – GULF ST VINCENT – PORT GAWLER – RESEARCH EQUIPMENT DEPLOYED
Mariners are advised that acoustic current meters are being deployed offshore from Port Gawler. This equipment will be 0.5 m high from the seabed, fully submerged P 1 and P 2 will have no surface buoy. The P 3 and P 4 will be marked with lit yellow buoys with light sequence (Fl Y 2s).
Equipment will be deployed from November for approximately 3 months

P 4 34°40'40.7"S 138°25'03.5"E
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the area.
