Governance and Reporting

The department is managed in an accountable and responsible way through effective governance and reporting, and is committed to improving accountability and transparency by increasing access to government information.

• Annual reports

  Each year, the department provides annuals reports for submission to Cabinet. The reports describe our achievements, performance, outlook and financial position for each reporting year.

• Proactive disclosure

  The Government of South Australia proactively makes information that is regularly requested available to all members of the community without requiring a Freedom of Information request.

• Freedom of Information

  The Freedom of Information Act 1991 gives members of the public the right to request access to documents held by the Government of South Australia, subject to certain conditions.
