Asset Handover

When a project is completed, contractors and developers need to give us important data about any changes or new additions to road assets. Giving accurate details helps to ensure the handover process goes smoothly.

Find out what information you need to provide for a successful handover.

Road civil assets, traffic signals and road lighting

To help you complete the data collection templates, read the AMF-PRC-005 Asset Data Collection Manual (DOCX, 413 KB). The manual also outlines the type and format of the asset data.

Provide the asset data with these templates and email them to your project manager:

Road centreline system

When there are changes to the road network, fill out the Road Centreline System Amendment Notification Form (XLSX, 17 KB). Changes can range from construction and rehabilitation of pavements to reseal and shoulder works programs. Examples include changes in lane type, pavements and surfacing treatments.

To help you fill out the form correctly, read the Guidelines and Examples for Completing AssetCAP Worksheet (PPT, 2968 KB). The AssetCAP system is used to collect key data on pavement interventions.

Once you have filled out the form, email it to your project manager.

Handing over assets

To close out the process, complete the PMF-PRC-002 Asset Handover Report (DOCX, 428 KB).

Once you have completed the report, email it to your project manager.
