HARBORS AND NAVIGATION ACT 1993
SOUTH AUSTRALIA – GULF ST VINCENT – HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEY WORK AND DEPLOYMENT OF TEMPORARY MEASURING INSTRUMENTS
Mariners are advised that hydrographic survey work will be undertaken in large parts of Gulf St Vincent from 2 September 2020 until mid-November 2020, weather permitting.
As part of the works, temporary tide gauges and current meters will be installed at the following locations:
- 34° 42.09' S, 138° 07.34' E
- 34° 57.48' S, 138° 05.75' E
- 35° 15.30' S, 138° 13.00' E
- 35° 20.50' S, 137° 46.80' E
- 35° 16.79' S, 137° 23.74' E
The measuring instruments will be floating approximately 3m from the seabed and will not be marked by floating surface buoys.
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution and avoid anchoring or net trawling in the areas.
