HARBORS AND NAVIGATION ACT 1993
SOUTH AUSTRALIA – GREAT AUSTRALIAN BIGHT & SPENCER GULF – VHF EMERGENCY MARINE RADIO OUTAGES
Mariners are advised that there will be several outages affecting the Emergency Marine Radio Network (VHF Ch 16 and Ch 67) on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th of June 2022.
The details of the outages are as follows:
Tuesday 7th of June, Great Australian Bight, (Streaky Bay)
- CH 16 0800-0930hrs
- CH 67 0930-1100hrs
Wednesday 8th June, Coffin Bay, (Eyre Peninsular)
- CH 16 0800-0930hrs
- CH 67 0930-1100hrs
Wednesday 8th June, Spencer Gulf, (Tumby Bay)
- CH 16 0900-1000hrs
- CH 67 1030-1130hrs
Mariners are advised to use secondary means emergency communication when navigating in these areas during the outages.
