Marion Road and Sir Donald Bradman Drive Intersection Upgrade
We're upgrading the intersection at Marion Road and Sir Donald Bradman Drive to make your journey safer and more reliable.
Marion Road and Sir Donald Bradman Drive are major commuter, freight and public transport routes with around 60,000 vehicles passing through the intersection every day.
The intersection becomes very congested with long queues especially during peak times.
This project will deliver:
- Less time stuck in peak hour traffic
- Better connection to Adelaide Airport
- Safer pedestrian crossings
- New bike lanes for cyclists
- Less traffic rat-running through local streets with an intersection that works.
The Australian and South Australian governments have jointly committed $85 million (50:50) towards this upgrade.
This upgrade will support 125 full time equivalent jobs each year, boosting South Australia's economy.
