About the project
We completed safety improvement works on the pedestrian crossing at the intersection of Glen Osmond Road, Kenilworth Road and Young Street to enhance safety for all road users, particularly school children crossing Glen Osmond Road.
The project is one of eight locations across South Australia identified for upgrade as part of the broader strategy to improve road safety for all pedestrians, but in particular children walking to and from school.
What's happening
The pedestrian improvements at the Glen Osmond Road, Kenilworth Road and Young Street intersection commenced in November 2024, and works were completed in March 2025.
