What's happening
We are undertaking safety upgrades along Goolwa Road between Victor Harbor Road, Mount Compass and Alexandrina Road, Goolwa.
The safety upgrade works will include:
- pavement rehabilitation
- shoulder widening
- bituminous sealing
- audio tactile line marking
These works will be followed by the installation of safety barriers later in the year.
Vegetation Management
We understand that trees are highly valued by the community.
To achieve these critical safety upgrades, some trees and vegetation impacts will be required. All vegetation impacts will be managed in accordance with legislative requirements and the Department’s Vegetation Removal Policy.
