Vegetation management
We understand that trees are highly valued by the community. The project has been carefully designed to minimise vegetation impacts as much as possible. Majority of vegetation has already occurred however removal of some additional trees and vegetation is now required due to the realignment of the intersection.
Vegetation impacts will be managed in accordance with legislative requirements and the Department for Infrastructure and Transport’s guidelines.
In collaboration with the City of Playford we are developing a landscaping plan for this project. More information will be available following commencement of major construction. Landscaping will also include new irrigation and have a target of increasing the canopy cover by 20%.
