About the project
We are delivering infrastructure upgrades along the 245km section of Horrocks Highway between Wilmington and Gawler. This will improve safety, connectivity and freight efficiency, and create jobs.
Works have so far have included:
- shoulder sealing
- pavement rehabilitation
- lane widening
- sealing of local road approaches
- new overtaking lanes and overtaking lane extensions
- bridge upgrades
- safety barriers
- Audio Tactile Line Marking (ATLM)
- improvements to the Gladstone rail corridor and level crossing.
