About the project
The junction of Junction Road and Jones Road in Balhannah was identified as a priority location for targeted safety upgrades.
The project aimed to:
- improve safety for all road users
- reduce the risk of accidents
- enhance clarity on traffic direction
- improve manoeuvrability at and around the junction.
We made several improvements at the intersection, including:
- upgraded lighting
- new line marking
- shoulder widening
- new signage.
