Naracoorte Road Upgrades
About the project
We undertook safety upgrades on Naracoorte Road, from Meatworks Road to Stott Road. The $7.4 million project was jointly funded by the Australian (80%) and South Australian (20%) governments as part of the Heavy Vehicle Safety and Productivity Program (HVSPP).
Naracoorte Road serves as an important connecting route between Bordertown and Naracoorte and supports a wide variety of freight movements in the region. These upgrades aimed to improve safety and efficiency for all road users, and accessibility for freight.
