About the project
We have rebuilt the Penneshaw Public Jetty to improve safety and access for all users. These works were undertaken to ensure ongoing public access to the Penneshaw Public Jetty. The new jetty will provide significant economic, social, and environmental benefits for the community
What we did
The new jetty upgrade includes:
- A new concrete boardwalk connecting to the historical timber jetty
- New durable and long lasting handrails for improved safety
- New lighting
- New steel piles to support sections of the new concrete broadwalk
- Refurbishment of remnant timber jetty and permanent cruise ship landing
