The River Murray Transport Network Resilience Program is being developed to strengthen South Australia's transport networks against future flooding. The Program will focus on State managed road, rail, and marine infrastructure impacted by River Murray flood events, aiming to ensure safer, more reliable connections for communities and industries across the region.

The Program is expected to inform planning for future projects, guiding long-term investment in flood resilient infrastructure.

What's happening

Technical studies, including targeted stakeholder engagement, are currently underway and will inform the Program.
