About the project
The State Government committed $43.5 million to deliver additional parking at the Tea Tree Plaza Park ’n’ Ride.
The new Park ‘n’ Ride at Tea Tree Plaza was built near the existing 700-park facility and has increased the number of Park ‘n’ Ride spaces available to approximately 1,200.
The construction of the Park ‘n’ Ride facility commenced in late November 2022, and was opened to the public on Friday 16 February 2024.
Community engagement formed an important component across the life of the project.
