About the project

We are constructing a single-lane roundabout at the intersection of Onkaparinga Valley Road, Nairne Road, and Junction Road in Balhannah. This will increase safety and improve traffic flow. 

What's happening

We will be making several improvements at the intersection. These include:

• a new single-lane roundabout featuring a mountable kerb to facilitate heavy vehicle movements

• new pedestrian refuges and access ramps

• upgraded lighting

• new line marking

• new asphalt, kerb and guttering

Project background

This project is part of the Adelaide Hills Productivity and Road Safety (AHPRS) Package.

The AHPRS includes a range of road improvements to support economic growth, improve road safety and increase fire resilience in the Adelaide Hills area.
