Vehicle access restricted on Streaky Bay Jetty
Friday, 30 December 2022
Following a recent underwater inspection which found a number of deteriorated jetty piles, vehicle traffic is no longer permitted on the jetty.
The jetty remains open for pedestrians and recreational anglers.
It is expected the restriction on vehicles will remain in place for at least 12 months, until piling works are completed.
Refuelling services will remain accessible to the commercial fishing industry and tourist operators in this time.
The Department for Infrastructure and Transport apologises for any inconvenience and thanks the Streaky Bay community for its patience.
