Financial latitude for data hack victims

The State Government has announced it will once again waive the usual replacement fee for South Australians requiring a replacement driver’s licence as a result of the recent cyber attack on Latitude Financial.

The lender, which provides buy now pay later services with major retailers including Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi, announced the data breach last week, affecting potentially hundreds of thousands of customers Australia-wide.

The company has since begun advising customers if their driver’s licence is likely to be compromised.

Affected South Australians who have been told by Latitude they should obtain a replacement licence can do so by attending a Service SA Centre.

The Government is awaiting further details from Latitude about affected customers in South Australia, after which we will also be able to provide an option to request a replacement licence online.

People attending a Service SA centre are requested to bring any information they have received from Latitude on this matter.

Once your licence has been replaced, a new card will be produced and posted to you.

Your licence with its new unique card identification number will also be immediately available digitally through your mySAGOV account and on the mySAGOV app.
