Adjusted Adelaide Metro timetables for festive season
Monday, 18 December 2023
Adelaide Metro will run a modified timetable for tram and bus services over the festive season between 27 and 29 December.
Every year, bus and tram services are reduced over the festive period (between Christmas and New Year’s Eve) due to significantly lower than normal patronage. Up to 50 per cent fewer passengers travel during these days.
A small number of peak trams will not be operating, however, services will still be running every 10 minutes from 6am to 7:30pm on the Botanic Line and between Glenelg and the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Trains will continue to operate to their regular weekday timetables on these dates.
These modified timetables will not affect events such as Adelaide Oval events or New Year's Eve celebrations, where additional services will operate.
Timetables are now available on the Adelaide Metro website at www.adelaidemetro.com.au.
Adelaide Metro InfoLine is also available daily between 7am and 8pm on 1300 311 108.
