SOUTH AUSTRALIA – SOUTHEND – CAPE BUFFON – LIGHT NOT WORKING

Former Notice to Mariners No. 69 of 2024

Mariners are advised that the navigation light (Fl WR 2.5s) at Cape Buffon near Southend in position 37° 33’ 58.36”S, 140° 06’ 28.16”E is not working.

A temporary all round red light (Fl R 2.5s, range 2 nautical miles) has been installed on this beacon.

The sectored light will be replaced by mid to late 2025.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the area.
