Notice to Mariners No. 33 of 2025 (Temporary)

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – PORT NOARLUNGA – RESEARCH BUOY DEPLOYED

Mariners are advised that a research buoy will be deployed off Port Noarlunga Reef from approximately 15 May 2025 for 3 years.

The research buoy is a pontoon 1.5m long by 1.2 wide, with 2 horizontal solar panels and a 1.2m pole painted bright yellow. At the top of the pole is an acrylic half-dome housing a yellow flashing light and camera.
