Notice to Mariners No. 53 of 2025 (Temporary)

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – GLENELG SHELLFISH REEF – RESEARCH EQUIPMENT DEPLOYED

Mariners are advised that research equipment,1.5m long by 1.2 wide, with 2 horizontal solar panels and a 1.2m high pole painted bright yellow, will be deployed in the Glenelg Shellfish Restoration Reef, late August 2025. The buoy will be deployed for approximately 36 months from instalment.

Locations:

34° 58' 21.8"S 138° 29' 53.3"E (Fitted with yellow flashing light)

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution when transiting the area.
